Beatriz

Beatriz is a passionate water lover with a lifelong connection to the ocean. She is half Portuguese and half Spanish. She grew up in a big family of ten siblings, where being in and around the water was always a big part of life. She has been swimming since she was just six months old, and the water has been part of her world ever since.

She studied Hospitality Management at Les Roches Marbella in Spain before spending two years in Australia, gaining experience across different fields. After returning to Europe, she continued following her passion for the ocean with a season at the Hart Beach surf school in the Netherlands.

Surfing is Beatriz’s greatest passion, and from a young age she has loved teaching children and sharing her enthusiasm for the water. Drawn to this role by her love for swimming and working with kids, she is motivated by helping children feel safe, confident, and happy in the water – while being part of a positive, dynamic team.

Sandra

Sandra is a dedicated mom and a passionate water enthusiast. After witnessing the transformative power of Children of the Water in her own family—especially for her two special needs children—she felt inspired to become a swim instructor herself.

Originally from Germany, Sandra brings with her a background in teaching and lifeguarding, as well as a deep commitment to creating safe, joyful experiences in the water. Her journey into holistic swim instruction is personal and purposeful: she wants every child, especially those with special needs, to have the same empowering and positive experience that changed her family’s life.

Whether she’s offering gentle encouragement or sneaking in a bit of humor, Sandra’s kind nature and genuine passion shine through in everything she does. At Children of the Water, she’s not just teaching swimming—she’s helping build confidence, joy, and trust, one splash at a time.

Sylvana

Sylvana is a Mother to her little boy Zenn. She signed up Zenn for the course, to make sure he was safe in and around water. After the course she made the decision to become an instructor.

She holds a qualification in special pedagogical work allowing her to specifically work with children.
Sylvana embodies Children of the Waters holistic approach in her communication with each family and child in and out of the water.

Zienat

When Zienat became a mother, her perspective on water safety changed. She wanted her daughter to grow up feeling confident in and around the water, and she realized how important it is to start that journey early.

She had always loved the water herself. As a child, she felt free and at ease in it, and she still carries that positive connection with her today.

With that enthusiasm, combined with a growing passion for water safety, she now guides young children in their development in the water. She teaches with calmness, structure, and attention to each child. For Zienat, safety, trust, and joy are always at the heart of everything she does.
